Paranormal Research Isn't About Fast Results

When I began studying accounts of alleged hauntings over 27 years ago, which now feels like a lifetime, I likely held the same mindset that many investigators today possess. I anticipated quick results in a single night, but I could not have been more mistaken. My experienced mentor swiftly dispelled that misguided notion.

I quickly learned there were no quick results, and it was never going to happen overnight. It took dedication, patience, and many long, frustrating nights that often produced nothing. I spent countless evenings sitting in a dimly lit room with my fellow investigator, armed with only basic equipment—none of the flashy gadgets people use today—waiting for that elusive moment when the reported phenomena would finally appear… but it rarely did.

From my own experience, obtaining honest, factual, and immediate results when investigating alleged hauntings is unlikely. At best, one might be fortunate enough to witness something unusual and unexplained. However, such investigations require time, patience, and numerous visits to the same location to gain a genuine understanding of the events taking place.
